DOG DAYS IN INDIA
Sports sections on the news channels are buzzing with the shocking revelation that a dog ran across the track during practice at the F1 Grand Prix in Delhi. Anyone who has operated aircraft into Indira Ghandi International Delhi, or Chhatrapati Shivaji Bombay, or just about any Indian airport in recent years will know that dogs on the track (runway, taxiway, apron...) are all in a day's work. In this latest case, the funnist headline award goes to the Times of India - 'Dog on Track Gives Rescuers the Slip'. Rescuers? What were they going to do with it once they "rescued" it??? Counselling perhaps.
